Leesville man, woman accused of stealing from Wal-Mart

LEESVILLE -- A Leesville man and woman are accused of stealing from Wal-Mart.

According to the Leesville Police Department, 23-year-old Kala Grettner and 37-year-old Adam Borreggine were booked in the case.

Authorities say a report was filed Jan. 17 in reference to several thefts from Wal-Mart.

Grettner and Borreggine were identified to authorities.

Authorities say Borreggine initially gave police a false identity.

The two were arrested following an investigation.

Borreggine was booked on contempt of court failure to appear for trial, resisting an officer, theft over $500, three counts of theft under $500 and four counts of criminal conspiracy. Bond was set at $37,000 but bond was denied on the contempt of court charge.

Grettner was booked on two counts of theft under $500 and two counts of criminal conspiracy. Bond was set at $3,000.
