Humane Society of West Louisiana adoption spotlight:

Pamela is a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix. She weighs 13 pounds, and is red with brown eyes. Pamela is sweet, gentle and quiet. She is spayed, heart-worm negative, and up-to-date on shots. The adoption fee at the Humane Society of West Louisiana is $100, and covers spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and tests at a veterinarian's office. HSWL requires a fenced yard, and children must be over five years old. HSWL adoption center is at 19301 Lake Charles Hwy. (171) in Rosepine, near the Catfish Hut. Viewing times for cats and dogs is 2-4 p.m. daily. Adoptions are 2-4 p.m. Monday-Friday; 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday; or by appointment. No adoptions on Sunday.
