Eno Joseph "E.J." Dantin Jr.
Eno Joseph "E.J." Dantin Jr., 56, a native of Galliano, and resident of Leesville,  for 13 years who recently returned to Galliano passed away April 13, 2014.
Visitation will take place at Lighthouse Worship Center in Galliano on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, from 8 a.m. until service time. Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m.
Visitation will be at Family Worship Center in Leesville from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2014, with a 2 p.m. graveside service in the Old Leesville Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral in Leesville.
Mr. Dantin is survived by his parents the Reverend Eno Dantin Sr. and Mrs. Lurie Dantin; son, Eric Jovan Dantin; daughters, Erika Herring, Alicia Jernigan and husband, Nathan, and Natasha Milliman and husband, James; grandchildren, Elyza Dantin, Xandrea Dantin, Ethanie Dantin, Leeland Dantin, Ian Dantin, Eben Dantin, Logan Bradburn, Emma McClure, Emilee Jernigan, Braxton Wells, Marlee Milliman, and Nathan Milliman; sisters, Darleen Gable and husband Jim and Enolia Malone and husband Dwayne and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. E.J. had over 20 years of service to the Ministry and was an avid fisherman, hunter, and golfer; who enjoyed lighthouses and cooking for his family.

Michael (Mike) Donavan Fridley
Michael (Mike) Donavan Fridley passed away on April 13 at home in Anacoco. He was the owner of Mike's Custom Mufflers, of Leesville. Previously, he was employed by Morris Tire Service of Leesville for approximately 20 years. Mike was an avid race car fan and extremely knowledgeable and skilled in most aspects of the automotive field. He built many racing engines, designed suspensions, constructed race car bodies, and assisted many local racers with the fine tuning and tweaking of their race cars. He was the local”go to person' for assistance toward any problems encountered with race cars. This was also Mike's hobby while growing up in California. Daily and certainly on Saturday mornings, local racers would gather at Mike's shop to enjoy coffee, donuts, bench racing and for racing tips shared from the speed guru.
Mike was born in Plattsburg, New York on Jan. 28, 1956, but lived most of his young life in California. He joined the US Army after high school and eventually moved to Leesville. Mike married Deborah, the love of his life whom he met in high school and they were married for 39 years.
Mike is survived by his wife, Deborah Fridley of Anacoco, daughter Sonia FridleyTousha of Anacoco Son. Scott Fridley of Anacoco, grandsons Mikey and Justin and step-granddaughter, Samara. He is also survived by his mother, Janet Blankenship Griffith of Leesville and closest and best friend James (Jim) Williams of Leesville.
Preceding in death was Mike's Father, Olanta Garland Fridley and Sister Lana Kay Fridley.
Mike's request was to be cremated. Plans for a celebration of Mike's life will be announced later. The family requests any donations be made in honor of Mike to the American Heart Association or to St. Jude's.
