Nationally-acclaimed comic, Darryl Littleton, to visit Beauregard Parish Library

DERIDDER --- Darryl Littleton, a nationally acclaimed comic, will visit the Beauregard Parish Library at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31.

Littleton began his comedy career writing sketches for “The Tom Joyner Morning Show” on CBS Radio.

The funny man has performed at the Comedy Store, and has written and planned material for other comics like D.L. Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer, Sommore and Don DC Curry.

Littleton has also appeared in television shows like the WB sitcom, “The Parent Hood,” Fox's “Townsend Television," “The Apollo Comedy Hour”, “Uptown Comedy Club," HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam”, Comedy Central’s “Make Me Laugh” and other programs.

Littleton is the first African- American on the advisory board of the Comedy Hall of Fame. He also served as script supervisor, touring host and personal writer for mega-star, Katt Williams.
