Merryville Heritage Festival set March 27-29

MERRYVILLE -- The Merryville Heritage Festival will be March 27-29 in Merryville.
The festival offers entertainment and food, on the grounds of the Merryville Historical Society Museum. The event celebrates the unique history of "No Man's Land" with skits, entertainment, demonstrations and attractions reminiscent of the 1800s and early 1900s. It draws around 3,500 visitors each year.

Here is the schedule:

Thursday, March 27 - 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.
Free admission
Thursday is for vendor set-up but gates are open for those wanting a sneak peek of the great food and merchandise.

Friday, March 28 - 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.
5 and under - Free; 6 and over - $4
Friday will host our Wrangler Round-Up Pageant and kick off great musical entertainment from the main stage.

Saturday, March 29 - 10 a.m. until 11 p.m.
5 and under - Free; 6 and over - $4
Saturday will begin with a parade at 10 a.m. Those interested in participating in the parade can contact Linda Whittington at 337-825-0101.
Saturday will also be the BBQ Cook-Off and the return of some local musical talent.
