Rebel State to host "Bluegrass Wingding" on March 29

MARTHAVILLE -- Rebel State Historic Site’s "Bluegrass Wingding" on Saturday, March 29, will be a day for bluegrass musicians and music lovers.
Jamming will begin at 1 p.m. and continue through the day, with audience participation encouraged.
A 6 p.m. concert features Phillip Strahan, and Jason Singletary and The Sabine River Bend Band.
Rebel State Historic Site is located approximately 25 miles west of Natchitoches on La. 1221 N.
The site is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It features the Louisiana Country Music Museum, an amphitheatre, pavilion, and picnic area.
Admission is $4 for adults (ages 13 to 61). Schools Groups, children (12 and under), seniors (62 and over) and State Parks annual pass holders are admitted free.
