BPSO reporting drug, cyberstalking arrests

BEAUREGARD PARISH -- The Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office is reporting two drug-related arrests as well as a cyberstalking arrest. According to Chief Deputy Joe Toler:

-- Lawrence Elam, 27, of Silsbee, Texas was arrested March 28. He was booked on possession of methamphetamine following a report received of a suspicious person. Elam was processed into the parish jail on $5,000 bond.

-- Daniel Shuff, 36, of DeRidder, was arrested March 31. He was booked on possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop for a minor infraction. Shuff was processed into the parish jail on $25,000 bond.

Authorities are also reporting the arrest of 29-year-old Christopher Orlando, of Lafayette. Orlando was arrested April 2. He was booked on two counts of cyberstalking following a complaint filed at the Sheriff's Office. He was processed into the parish jail on $10,000 bond.
