'Beauregard Trash Bash' set May 17, several drop-offs planned

DERIDDER -- The Beauregard Parish Trash Bash will be from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 17.
This is for residents only. Business and contractors will not be allowed to participate.
White goods, including washers, dryers, refrigerators and air conditioners with compressors removed will be accepted.
Residents can also discard of old batteries, tires (only five per person), lumber, fencing, old swing sets, yard waste, electronics, aluminum cans, used motor oil and scrap metal.
Recyclables can also be deposited. Residents are asked to sort the items.
Liquids and fireworks will not be accepted.
Dumpsters will be located across the parish for residents to utilize. They will be at:

-- The Ragley Historical Society at 1615 Hwy. 12 in Ragley;

-- The Merryville maintenance yard at 10182 Hwy. 190 West;

-- The Singer maintenance yard at 10398 Hwy. 27;

-- The Hyatt Community Center at 6249 Hwy. 109 in Fields;

-- The Dry Creek maintenance yard at 8352 Hwy. 394 in DeRidder; and

-- The Beauregard Parish Airport maintenance yard at 1335 1st Avenue in DeRidder.
