Some voters in Beau, Vernon to go to polls Saturday

Some voters in Beauregard and Vernon Parish will go to the polls on Saturday, May 3.
Election day voting is from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
There is one item in Vernon, and one item in Beauregard.
In Leesville's District 1, voters will decide a runoff in the councilman race between candidates Charles Randall Haymon, Republican, and Chris Robertson, Republican.
In Beauregard, voters in Fire Protection District No. 2 (the Longville, Ragley area) will decide a 10-year, 6.81 millage continuation.

Here's the language of the proposition:

Shall Fire Protection District No. 2 of the Parish of Beauregard, State of Louisiana (the "District''), be authorized to continue to levy a special tax of six and eighty-one hundredths (6.81) mills on all property subject to taxation in the District (an estimated $374,550 reasonably expected at this time to be collected from the levy of the tax for an entire year), for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2015 and ending with the year 2024, for the purpose of constructing, acquiring, improving, maintaining and operating fire protection facilities in the District and paying the cost of obtaining water for fire protection purposes, including charges for fire hydrant rentals and service, said millage to represent a sixty-seven hundredths (.67) increase over the 6.14 mills tax authorized to be levied through the year 2014 pursuant to an election held on September 18, 2004?
