Dry Creek man enters guilty pleas, sentenced in murders

BEAUREGARD PARISH -- A Dry Creek man accused in the murders of a woman and her two young children in 2011 has pleaded guilty to all three counts.

Christopher Bounds, 22, entered the pleas in 36th Judicial District Court as part of a plea deal.

He had been set to go to trial next month.

Bounds was charged in the deaths of 40-year-old Patricia Kreuzberger and her daughters, 10-year-old Mya, and 5-year-old Nichole.

Their bodies were found in a burned King Road home in Dry Creek.

The Calcasieu Parish Coroner's Office determined that all three victims died from causes other than the fire. Their deaths were classified as homicides. Fire investigators also found that the fire was intentionally set.

Bounds will serve three life terms for the murders.
