Northrop Grumman secures $24M for Fort Polk work

Northrop Grumman Enterprise Management Services, of Herndon, Va. was awarded a $24,997,000 firm-fixed-price contract to "continue key and essential logistics service support requirements" at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, according to a contract log released May 9 by the U.S. Department of Defense.

The log suggests the work has been performed. The completion date noted is March 14, 2014.

"One bid was solicited and one received. Fiscal 2014 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $2,000,000 are being obligated at the time of the award. Army Contracting Command, Ft. Polk, Louisiana is the contracting activity," the release states.
