Ragley woman booked on DWI, third offense

CALCASIEU PARISH -- A Ragley woman was booked Thursday on DWI, third offense, according to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office.

Authorities say Cheryl A. Granger, 58, was involved in a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Topsy Road and Vines Road in Moss Bluff.

Authorities say Granger's car ran off the road and into a ditch. Responding deputies suspected alcohol to be a factor.

"After Granger performed poorly on a standard field sobriety test, she was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center," a release states.

Granger has two prior DWI arrests since 2011. She was booked and released on a $10,000 bond set by Judge Kent Savoie.
