VPSO announces recent arrests

VERNON PARISH -- The Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office has announced the following recent arrests:

July 3

Robert Vincent Worth, 24, of Leesville, booked on possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and one count of illegal use of controlled dangerous substance in the presence of persons under the age of 17.
Bond was set at $23,000.
He remains in the parish jail.

Craig Fitzgerald McLaurin, 48, of Leesville, booked on operating a vehicle while intoxicated (second offense) and one count of proper equipment required on vehicles. Bond was set at $1,373. He posted bond and was released.

July 4

John Joseph Michael Carver, 21, of Leesville, booked on an outstanding bench warrant. Bond has not been set.

July 5
Richard E. Eaves, 49, of Leesville; booked on disturbing the peace -- intoxicated in public, and entry on or remaining on land or in a place where forbidden. Bond was set at $700. Eaves remains in the parish jail.
July 7

Paula J. Hoer, 32, of Leesville; booked on one count of criminal trespassing and one count of disturbing the peace. Bond was set at $900. She remains in the parish jail.
