Two accused in Beauregard vehicle burglaries

BEAUREGARD PARISH -- Two arrests have been made in an investigation into a string of vehicle burglaries in Beauregard Parish.

According to Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Joe Toler, 26-year-old Marion Beason and 19-year-old Coby Thibodeaux, both of DeRidder, have been arrested in the thefts which were reported in the Dogwood Trail and Three Pine Church Road areas.

Beason was booked on two counts of possession of stolen things. His bond was set at $7,000.

Thibodeaux was booked on simple burglary and theft. His bond was set at $35,000.

Both were processed into the parish jail.

Toler said some items have been recovered.
